The following is a brief summary of the ambitions & desires I truly hope to achieve some time in the near future. Several are very personal, while others are broad-scoped with much to do before they may be successful. Then there are the pipe dreams which seem currently improbable or impossible, yet there is still hope...
Achievable Opportunities
Fatherhood: as one of four children, I have always wanted to some day have at least one child of my own...
Wealth: I do not need to be stinking rich, but would like to be confident in my ability to pay bills & live comfortably...
Finishing my book: I have started & stopped so many times, I just need to focus & complete the first story. Then I can complete the entire novel...
Learn to play my guitar: I have been dying to drag out that guitar I bought ten years ago & learn how to play it.
Film Producer: This goal is partially achieved. I simply need a video camera & some great editing software to get my career in film rolling. While I have the 3D Animation thing going, it would be nice to round it all out with some true cinematography.
Pipe Dreams
Start my own restaurant: as a cook with great experience in my home, I feel I could bring some new styles & great food to a restaurant based around chicken, beef, & pork (no seafood)... It's the fact that I cannot stand the taste of seafood or wine that holds me back.
Become a powerful politician/President: We have all lived through troubled times & watched our leaders stumble over each other in the never-ending grab for power & influence. I have even begun a blog about this topic...
Time Traveler: Yes, I would love to be involved in the discovery of time travel or control over the speed at which time flows around, through, & within people. I imagine either being able to pause time or travel through time & make changes, damn the consequences!
